A free resource for students who share an apartment.
Students move into shared apartments in September, January and May, often with roommates they have just met. One buzzer number for four roommates is a problem they meet in week one. You can share the fix as a resource, with or without payouts.
- Two months free for your students
- Payouts optional

Intake week, in a shared apartment
New students sign a lease with friends or strangers, and the lobby buzzer calls whoever’s number the building has on file. Students who just arrived are often setting up a new Canadian phone plan that same week.
A line in your off-campus housing guide or orientation handout reaches them at exactly the right time.
- Made for roommatesBuzzMeBro lets you put more than one roommate on the lobby buzzer, so you are not relying on one person to answer. Each roommate can pause their own phone or set quiet hours for exams and night shifts.
- Works with Canadian and US mobilesEach roommate’s Canadian or US mobile can be on the buzzer, including a new Canadian SIM picked up on arrival.

Sharing an apartment? Most lobby buzzers call one phone per unit. BuzzMeBro lets you put more than one roommate on it, and each person chooses when their own phone rings. First two months free with code P7KQ2MXA: buzzmebro.com/p/P7KQ2MXA
Half of what we collect, paid monthly
Nothing is paid unless you set up payouts on Stripe. An office or agency that cannot accept money can share BuzzMeBro as a free resource and never set them up. Tell us and we will note it on your account.

BuzzMeBro is a Toronto company. Our customers’ phone numbers, address and door log are never sold, rented, licensed or traded, and never used to train AI. The same goes for your own details as a partner.
- You never see your customers’ detailsEach apartment shows as a code, with amounts. Never a name, phone number, address or door log.
- People sign up themselvesYou never collect phone numbers or door codes for us, and you never pressure anyone.
- Never a condition of anythingSigning up is never tied to a lease, a booking, building access, packages or any service.
- Stripe handles the moneyStripe verifies your identity and bank account and sends your payouts. We never see your bank details.
The rules are short and in plain language: read the partner terms before you join.
Prefer not to fill in forms? Ask your assistant.
Assistants that use connectors can sign you up. Tell yours:
“Sign me up for the BuzzMeBro partner program.”
- Read back the code we text to your mobile.
- Open the terms page and accept the partner terms yourself. An assistant cannot accept them for you.
- Add your bank details on Stripe’s own page when your first payout is ready. An assistant never sees or enters them.

Before you join
We cannot accept money. Can we still share it?
Yes. Payouts only start once you set up a Stripe account, so you can share BuzzMeBro as a free resource and never set them up. Tell us and we will note it on your account.
Does BuzzMeBro see student data from us?
No. Students sign up themselves. We never ask you for student lists, and you never see a student’s details: only a code per apartment.
Which phones can be on the buzzer?
Canadian and US mobile numbers. A student who just arrived can add their new Canadian SIM as soon as it is active. Each phone needs to receive calls and texts, and the signup phone is texted a code.
How much can I earn?
Half of what each apartment you referred pays us, after sales tax, refunds and Stripe’s fee. As a worked example: 20 apartments on the monthly plan at $9.99 would come to about $93 a month. That is arithmetic, not a forecast. It depends on how many people sign up and stay, and nothing is guaranteed.
When and how am I paid?
Monthly, through Stripe, once you have at least $25 ready. Each share is held 30 days after we collect the payment (120 days for a yearly plan), in case of a refund. New partners are paid up to $300 a month for their first 90 days; anything above that waits for the next month.
What does Stripe ask for when I set up payouts?
Stripe asks you to turn on two-step sign-in and to verify your identity with a photo of your ID and a selfie. It is Stripe’s standard check for anyone it pays, and it takes about 3 minutes. You only do it once, and only after you have earned your first $25. You do not need it to join or to start sharing.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There is no fee, nothing to buy and no bank details to give when you join.
Do I earn on free months?
No. You earn only on money we actually collect. A free month, a failed payment or a refunded payment pays nothing.
Do I see the details of people I refer?
No. You see a code for each apartment and the amounts. Never a name, phone number, address or door log.
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or older who lives in Canada, and Canadian businesses. The program is Canada only for now. You handle your own taxes.
